Break extra waffles into sections and freeze. Stick frozen sections in the toaster for a quick breakfast or snack.
Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Waffles
2 ¼ c. whole wheat flour
4 tsp. baking powder
½ c. creamy natural peanut butter
1 ½ Tbsp. sugar or 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
2 eggs, beaten
2 ¼ c. whole milk, or almond milk, or half whole yogurt and half water
¼ c. oil or melted coconut oil
¼ tsp. salt
Combine all ingredients and cook on waffle iron.
yummmmm. These sound really good! Especially with some jam on top.
